A two-stage tender procedure has been organized by “Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation” OJSC for involving a consulting engineering company in order to prepare a comprehensive feasibility study, select a cost-effective, environmentally safe technology for evaluation of alunite ore and production of the alunite, obtain the alunite ore suitable for alumina production with the most modern enrichment technology, extract the alumina, fertilizers and other useful products by processing the extracted alunite concentrate, asses alumite ore reserves in “Dashkasan Zaylik Alunite Mine” located in Dashkasan Region of the Azerbaijan Republic. As a result of the procurement procedure, Micon International, Co Limited located at Suite 10, Keswick Hall, Keswick, Norwich, NR4 6TJ, United Kingdom, won in accordance with Article 36.7.2 of the Law on Public Procurement of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On July 27, 2021, a contract was signed with this organization in the amount of 419,845$ excluding all taxes.
